It's that time of year again! School's back in session, and can you believe Halloween is just around the corner? Living here in Southern California, I always wish we got those beautiful changing leaves like they do on the East Coast. Don't you? But even without the fall foliage, you know autumn's arrived when pumpkin lattes, muffins, cookies, candles — basically everything pumpkin — are everywhere! This year, I really wanted to find some tea blends that totally scream Halloween.
When you think of fall flavors, it's usually pumpkin spice, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg, right? Those are definitely more Thanksgiving-y, though. I feel like Halloween calls for something a bit more adventurous with your tea! You can totally get daring and explore some unique blends that would be perfect for your next Halloween tea party.
I recently found out about The Tea Can Company; they've been selling specialty teas since 2011. They have such a fun collection of Halloween teas! They've got their "Witch's Brew," which comes with a tin of "Wicked Vanilla Rose Oolong Tea" and "Black Magic Elderberry Herbal Tea." Or, you could try their "Vampire Tea" an apple cider flavor. I actually snagged the Witch's Brew Tea Gift set for my own Halloween tea party! I've heard so many good things about The Tea Can, so I'm really excited to tell you what I think. If you've tried any of their teas, definitely let me know in the comments! I'd love to hear your thoughts.
You know, Art of Tea is another fantastic company that totally masters organic and specialty teas. Personally, I'm all about their sweet dessert teas – they just scream "Halloween tea party”. They have Dark chocolate Peppermint Tea (bold, minty, sweet) and Caramelized Pear Tea (fruity, sweet).
So, another awesome spot for seasonal teas is Smith Teamaker! The founder, Steven Smith, really knows how to work his magic when it comes to making delicious teas. Their Big Hibiscus is seriously perfect for Halloween. It has a super bold color, hints of vanilla and ginger, and it's caffeine-free. Plus, both the taste and color of hibiscus tea are just spot-on for the spooky season!
Their Blackberry Jasmine Iced Tea is seriously cool – it's a stunning blue color and packed with delicious ingredients like jasmine green tea, orange peel, butterfly pea flower, blackberry, mango, and pineapple flavors!
Get ready to howl at the moon with these 5 spooky tea blends. There are tons of tea flavors out there, so I totally encourage you to pick ones you love and have a super magical time brewing them with your Boo Crew!
